Reader!
People are truly great photography subjects, and I’m not talking about classical portraits.
Look at the following images that include people. You'll notice that they are used to give the image an element of interest:
People with dark or colourful clothing are the best models, but it really depends on the setting. Also, look for people with umbrellas.
Keep your eyes open when you’re out and about with your camera for cool settings that might look good when someone walks through - you may want to come back later with a friend.
By the way, "Night Sky" photography is included in next month's theme: "Landscapes and Nature" in the Creativity Group.
"Capturing the perfect moment" is also included in this month's "Creativity Group" content. You'll only have to learn this once, and once you've nailed it, you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of beautiful authentic photos of your family and friends.
I hope you enjoyed this email and that it inspires you to grab your camera and spend your Sunday capturing people as accessories in your photos.
If you want more detailed information about capturing people in photos, whether it's yourself, as portraits or as accessories, join the Creativity Group this month. The theme is:
"Portraits, People and Selfies" - and even though it's the 21st of May, you haven't missed a thing 🤩. After signing up, you'll receive this month's guide, where you'll learn photography methods along with my favourite tips and tricks. You'll also have access to the community, where you'll find all of this month's prompts (there's a new one every day, and you'll notice that the other group members are still working on past themes too) and the feedback videos - this is where, each week, I select five photos and give helpful feedback. I purposefully select photos to analyse that ALL group members profit from the advice given.
You can join the Creativity Group for only $39 a year. Each year includes 12 themes, 365 prompts and 52 feedback videos AND ACCESS TO AN AMAZING COMMUNITY OF LIKE-MINDED PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD 🌎
